This full second-floor renovation transformed a collection of dated spaces into a warm and inviting retreat for the homeowners. A completely reworked layout created a generous primary suite with double doors, a focal fireplace, custom walk-in closet cabinetry, and a new spa-inspired bathroom, while also improving the home’s two additional bedrooms and office.

Drawing inspiration from the quiet comfort of the homeowners’ favourite Muskoka cottage, the design layers warm woods, natural stone, tactile textiles, and enveloping earthy tones. The result is a deeply personal space that feels relaxed, restorative, and cocoon-like.
